@Cheeseness@mastodon.social yes, it would validate that type of work that used to be in computer culture (pay later, buy me a beer, tip me… that i grew up with in “free” software). imo it establishes that labors of love are not necessarily free, but exist because of generosity.

@alienmelon@mastodon.social Similarly, I'd love to see options similar to the "community copies" thing that some creators have been doing on Itch as well (but without all the manual handling)
