So the chickens have become kind of pests when I'm working on pulling weeds in a garden bed they aren't fenced off from. They come running and I have 6 chicken heads darting in to peck any worms I might have turned over.....until today. I just discovered they are seriously skeeved out if I'm wearing my brightly colored, elbow length garden gloves. They still cluster around me but don't stick their heads into my work area. They give my hands serious side eye but they wait at a distance for me to toss them treats from my endeavors....at least until they figure out my gloves are nothing to be afraid of.
