@coolboymew@shitposter.world @hj@shigusegubu.club Yeah, prices between France and rest of Europe are often quite weird, but even *weirder* in NA where it seems premium and for a low-cost style bad service.
Always reminds me of the South Park episode with internet being from the nipple-wanker cable-tv company.

It's probably worse here But yeah, IIRC, in the US (Could probably be the case for backwater parts in Canada, I remember lots of place still stuck with dial up way into the late 2000s), they're stuck with a single provider and that's what the episode makes fun of. No competition = They can do whatever the fuck they want
