it's always weird to me when i hear people talk about how much more productive AI makes them at technology or coding because that just makes me think that they are not engaging with code in a cognitive capacity and instead are seeing it as a set of rote operations that need to be run. if something is so easy that it can be automated by an LLM, then surely a better deterministic abstraction could be made for it instead of letting the machine vomit out previously encountered logic. that's something you need to do at the assembly layer, not the code layer...
