I admit to being uncultured so the term "Virginia Woolf" just makes me think of "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf", which I've never seen. Yesterday I learned she wrote a book in 1928 called "Orlando" about a guy who lives without aging for centuries but changes from a man into a woman at some point. In 1928.
