@starsider@valenciapa.ws @Vordus@chitter.xyz It took me literally years before I came to associate "i18n" with internationalization. Years. I advocate for a global ban on all numeronyms, and severe social penalties on anyone who thinks they're being clever by using one in a serious context.

    @vertigo@hackers.town @Vordus@chitter.xyz It took me years too (probably, I don't really remember), but at least I didn't _need_ to know the meaning, I just knew it was the language packs... The same cannot be said of a11y, particularly when it looks like "ally"...
