@starsider@valenciapa.ws @Vordus@chitter.xyz It took me literally years before I came to associate "i18n" with internationalization. Years. I advocate for a global ban on all numeronyms, and severe social penalties on anyone who thinks they're being clever by using one in a serious context.

@starsider@valenciapa.ws @Vordus@chitter.xyz It's fine in user facing text if the first time it shows up is "accessibility (a11y)" But if you can do that then in virtually all situations you can just spell it out.
