@anderesu@masto.es @kravietz@agora.echelon.pl @sgued@pouet.chapril.org The fundamental issue people continue to miss: the energy demands the global economy exceeds the capacity of the mineral resources for the alternative energies system systems. Communities that don’t have electricity live without electricity and it would be great for them to have PV, but they are not the ones running into a resource brick wall. That’s what we have to come to terms with. We have to simplify. 1/n

  • @anderesu@masto.es @kravietz@agora.echelon.pl @sgued@pouet.chapril.org Necessarily people have to come to terms with the reality that the capacity to manufacture EV, PV and wind also unravels. It could certainly continue to happen but the alternative energy systems necessary to undertake these processes don’t yet exist. An immense amount of the world’s energy is expended on site at extracting or manufacturing sites. The oil is running out. The capacity to manufacture is running out. The energy for the global economy is going out. 2/n
