@asgrim@phpc.social sorry, but what is the con? LLMs provide value in the same way driving a car provides value. It uses natural and human resources in the same way a car uses natural resources. But we don’t call driving a “con”.

But we can and should: They create a car dependent environment, they're dangerous, they're loud, they pollute and stink, take up a lot of space, they cause traffic, and parking creates concrete or asphalt deserts between the locations I actually want to go.
