@NickSchwanck@aus.social I have a particular hatred for 'let that sink in'. It's so arrogant and dismissive, the assumption that the reader could not possibly have been able to think about this before, and for it to have already long since sunk in. And it's usually blindingly obvious stuff anyway. 'Rich people run the media. You're reading what they want you to read. Let that sink in.', or some such banality.
