@anarchaeopteryx@gamepad.club my mother got married and moved while I was away in college, and our GB and Game Gear were never found. Probably a common thing to happen kids of the 80s and 90s, unfortunately.

@scribblemacher@mstdn.games And also why they are probably so expensive now. Of course back then they were "toys" and in my family we always handed down toys to other relatives. They weren't really something valuable. And my parents never really put much stock in sentimental attachment either. Alas.
