I don’t care how much money Google “pledges” to the community or how many jobs it creates, or that a PGA golf course uses more water than entire AWS availability zones, I want raw numbers.
All of these projects outside the handful of insane Gigawatt scale AI data centers (and pre-existing data centers too), do not publish any raw numbers really. Can anyone find out if the upcoming Ohio ballot initiative to ban data centers over 25 MW in size will actually do anything?

Like do you need to deep dive into quarterly financial statements? I mean there’s like 5 DC’s near me that maybe 1 will be publicly traded. Google is building one in BFE Ohio and all I can find is that it’s going to cost 500 million dollars or something. I can find “a massive” 9 MW data center built like a decade ago in Ohio. Like if the average DC is significantly under 25 MW, Google and AWS also mostly use less than that, then what is the point?
