Really any Apple Silicon system is more than adequate for my needs when it comes to CPU power. It’s more about RAM and storage. If I could spec a MacBook Neo up to 16GB/1TB for like $999 that would be my next machine. Maybe by the time I really need to replace my M1 there will be more configuration options. If not, then I guess it’ll be another Air.

I wonder if Apple has any plans to introduce other cheaper Macs using A series chips. For example a $999 iMac or $399 Mac mini.
