@bonkers@nerdculture.de @auxonic@ottawa.place @BrunoLevy01@fosstodon.org @cstross@wandering.shop And yes, only now re-reading your post I remember: The CPU manual showed that opcodes for each of the instructions, and they were so well organised that I think it must be (or, for most, have been if at all) relatively easy to learn them. So logical and structured!

@jyrgenn@mas.to @auxonic@ottawa.place @BrunoLevy01@fosstodon.org @cstross@wandering.shop yes, it was pretty easy to grasp, even for a schoolboy (I was around 7th or 8th grade if I recall it right). The coolest thing, it helped me understand how computers work. I'm really puzzled by today's programmers who code in something like JavaScript and have no idea what's happening on the CPU level.
