The state had refused to provide communication between the prosecution and the detective, claiming privileged information. The defense requested a privilege log explaining what communication was privileged, and the judge dismissed the request without hearing any arguments. The prosecution attempted to have Dario’s lawyers disqualified for representing both him and Janette Goering, and they tried to fabricate a conflict of interest by offering him immunity if he testified against Janette.

Dario rejected that offer in solidarity with the other defendants, and it only reveals that these cases are too weak to stand on their own. Dario’s lawyers can respond to the alleged conflict of interest at a hearing on May 22. Even though Dario’s trial was ultimately moved to June 22, we know that kicking someone from a group chat is not a crime. Please, join us on June 22.
