I think technology has interfered with our functioning society in ways that do not benefit most people.
There is no easy solution for many problems, but tech companies not taking social responsibility is part of the problem.

@joepbc@mastodon.social My point is that a lot of the examples he brings up are entirely self-inflicted. People could simply put their phones away in places where they don't enjoy being filmed. But they don't. Thus worsening the problem. Big Tech can fuck off, but they're not forcing anyone to have their phones out all the time. They're not making it impossible to date without apps. That's people, not tech companies.
