@c_reider@sonomu.club Thanks for sharing and reminding this! I love it! Weird Spitter has my favourite kind of fine-tuning frequency changes. Sun Kinks should be played at the Union Chapel here! Very trippy. I like how it is like “deteriorating" or weirdly glitching at times like our mind. I want to listen to that track especially, on the weekend again! And shame on the labels that rejected it. I want to talk a bit about rejection. Not saying this to create engagement but I am writing a blog post on that. I have a lot of things to say on that. I will send a private message to see if you want to share some points. My reflection on this is about my attempts to not take this personally (writing this is sounding easier than done). it is an ongoing journey for me. I am so frustrated with many things but there are a lot of rewarding things. I remember framing a whole concept around how rejection from somewhere else resulted in something much more useful working out for me. 🤔 "These sounds were made using some of the following technologies: Mac OS 9, Gnutella network, Vine, cassette tape, Amadeus Pro audio editor.” That’s super interesting and nice. Are you still using this old school stuff or is it more of VCV rack journeys? Just gonna conclude this super long response here by saying that I want to share some of my VCV jams with you in PM: you have inspired me to use Hetrick modules which massively helped with my setup! Added to my favourites along with Mutable Instruments and Befaco modules now.
