I’ve been wanting to write about my thoughts on this at length, this isn’t it .. but maybe just a sneak peek since this article inspired me: https://apnews.com/article/cuba-solar-power-charging-station-panels-santa-clara-solinera-0dc6f6ea3fcc3edb37a4e045425e26f0 “Fighting climate change” will never be about actually fighting climate change, but rather about fighting established, centralized and entrenched power structures that leech of and benefit from the existing monopolized, logistically challenging energy market and its adjacent industries.

Energy is power. It’s hyper centralized. In the hands of global, oligarchical conglomerates. The alternatives for these established energy structures are the exact opposite: decentralized, abundant, available to everyone, anywhere in the world.
