Energy is power. It’s hyper centralized. In the hands of global, oligarchical conglomerates.
The alternatives for these established energy structures are the exact opposite: decentralized, abundant, available to everyone, anywhere in the world.

THAT is the fight the powerful are fighting at the moment. They are fighting for their existence, to keep their power, their monopolies, their control. They couldn’t give less of a fuck about efficiency, carbon-footprint or Mother Nature unless you find a way for everyone to pay for sun and wind. And for them to hold all stakes in these commodities. They never will, obviously. But they’ll ruin the planet for everyone in the process of still trying.
