@donaldham@mstdn.social Seen the Renault 5 e? If I wasn’t set on a Fiat 500e Cabrio it would definitely be in contention for my next car.

@foxbasealpha@tech.lgbt Sigh. No Renaults sold in the US any more. If Fiat isn't gone yet, it's just hanging on by fingernails. The new e-Polo from VW looks terrific, they finally paid attention to ergonomics and re-introduced real switches and knobs. But we have *never* been able to buy a Polo here. When our family was in the UK last September, I was surprised (but happy) to see that the Polo outsells the Golf by a wide margin.
