@thomastc@mastodon.gamedev.place remember when we were still around the Android 4 era, and new releases were actually anticipated? You'd drop everything and load up the announcement page to scroll through all the cool new innovative changes and then spend the next week trying to force your phone to pick the update up prematurely? Remember when Icecream Sandwich dropped and Google actually gave out literal icecream sandwiches with Nexus purchases because it was such a cool launch? Now they just trigger anxiety 😬
