I have been on the record with my absolute disdain for the entire governing apparatus of the NCAA since I competed under their auspices in the 90s. But this 76 team March Madness bracket is a bullshit cash-grab abomination, holy shit. Yes, it will dilute the possibility of Cinderella upsets, that's the true tragedy of it all, but it doesn't even parse as a bracket. All of the 16 and (upset-favorite) 12 seeds will be decided by a play-in game, but only two of the 11s and 15s? Two regions get two play-in games, the other two regions get four?
