While I'm shitting on Substack - I used to really love that platform (in the same way I really loved Twitter back in the day). You can never under-estimate the ability of site owners to lose control of the platform when bad actors (nazis, right wing trolls, etc) show up an expedite enshittification I believe Substack leadership wants to do the right thing, but they don't see the problems and I don't think they're very smart I worked at facebook back in the day and we had the same problem
