@alreadydeadxd@infosec.exchange i would argue things being coincidental beyond ourselves is the test of reality because if you can't have a coherent circumstance/situation/event or bit of information externally, there is basically no reality to interact with in a meaningful way, and of course meaning is subjective, but in this i mean being able to project outward an intentional energy and have it coincide externally with expectations. if there was not a measurable objectiveness to reality, what would reality even be?

@carbonated_estrogen@transfem.social okay, so i don't believe in free will either, haha. to say "things being coincidental beyond ourselves" already assumes there is something beyond ourselves, which like i said, i don't think can be proven, as we are confined by our experiences. you can only say that your experiences are consistent or coherent which doesn't prove anything. i don't know what would reality be, what i'm trying to argue for is called "external world skepticism", haha.
