Man, I think the love theme in the Overture to Candide is one of my favorite bits of writing Bernstein ever did.
It happens at ~1:20 in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=422-yb8TXj8 but do yourself a favor and watch the whole thing, it's only around 4 min. long. and even if the sound and video aren't quite synced watching Bernstein conduct is always a joy.

Also, if you're kind of person who enjoys that sort of thing it happens at bar 83 for the first time. https://archives.nyphil.org/index.php/artifact/2cd1e322-23fb-4be0-8660-c16adf18df3a-0.1/fullview#page/1/mode/2up Look at that, he divisi's the double bass and basically with half playing pizz. and half playing Arco. I'm not saying I've stolen that in things I've written, but man have I stolen that in things I've written. Also the lines of parallel 6ths for sweet romantic stuff. It's amazing how effective it is to come out of the super complex stuff going on before that into this sweeping melody with a bit of homophonic accompaniment.
