    @Lgo@hostux.social It is indeed one of the possible answers. It depends on the project, a fork can cause a rift in community of users, which can be devastating. Feedback, support, use cases, testing etc are not monetary rewards but can be crucial to the project. And even if there is no intent to coerce, the smallest alignment differences between the individual and the company can already cause serious distraction and stress. (1/2)
