@fancysandwiches@neuromatch.social i'm just having flashbacks to cryptobros' arguments about energy. "it's not that energy intensive!", "it's mostly solar anyway", "well *my* cryptocurrency isn't bitcoin, so i don't care how much legitimacy-by-proxy i grant it", etc. etc.
