The strategy games are good. I have thousands of hours in them (combined, not each - such madmen exist but I'm not among them).
But they decided that they wanted to be a AAA publisher, and started making every mistake AAAs do. Every unethical thing, but also every utterly stupid thing.

I was willing to buy almost all DLC for CK2, EU4 and Stellaris. I got it on the deepest sales, over a looong time, but I was a hardcore, loyal customer. And they managed to lose me completely. Not make me a hater or anything, I just... don't even _want_ to buy anything from them. It jumped just so many sharks.
