@kimapr@ublog.kimapr.net okay but even if that’s true (which i’m not convinced of), having a track record of writing security libraries with known hypothetical security flaws and not addressing them because you don’t think they matter isn’t very good. they only have to be wrong about the impact of a known flaw once, and they could easily prevent having to be right 100% of the time by fixing flaws when they are found rather then not doing that.

    @shitpostalotl@axfedi.derg.rest i’m addressing soatok’s behavior here. there are 1 million reasons to hate matrix and i probably agree with most of them. but, using loaded terms like “Severity: High” and “Zero Security” when showing a “vuln” that seemingly can only be exploited in conditions that already count as a full compromise on their own, is just fearmongering. Fearmongering isn’t good
