@seatek@hard.blue When I moved to Boulder a bit more than a decade ago, one of the reasons I chose the apartment I rented was its proximity to bus stops and, critically, a grocery store. Having sold my car during my DC stint for Reasons, and given that parking is next to impossible on the CU campus (and costs an arm and a leg just for a permit to hunt, whereas if you voluntarily give up your parking rights on campus, the university gives you a free bus pass). Alas, that arrangement would be much, much harder here in metro Detroit.
