@ellenich@techhub.social @grantjbutler@hachyderm.io it's Apple's fault by allowing it. Apple doesn't provide the API but won't reject apps that build their own API. Apple could even do this outside of app review by simply requiring apps to affirm in a legally binding agreement that they don't track this data.
