@tomstoneham@dair-community.social @UlrikeHahn@fediscience.org It seems that this is an interesting case of different disciplinary expectations. Putting on my computer scientist’s hat, I’d say it’s simply a typical approach you use in CS. Whether round-tripping is a good approach in this _particular_ case is an interesting question. IMHO it’s a good way to establish some upper bound, but I agree that it captures only some aspects.
