@JoshuaACNewman@xeno.glyphpress.com mine was all about semantics and how people mentally interpreted the singular 'they' pronoun. Steve Weisler was my chair and I also had Neil Stillings and Mark Feinstein on my committee.

@jessamyn@glammr.us I worked with all three of them! Stilling gave me my kindest evaluation of my Hampshire career, which was basically “You worked really hard, and 90s neuroscience sure has a lot of unknowns.” (I had many other supportive evals that weren’t “You worked hard, but this isn’t the field for you.”)
