@paulmison@sfba.social Fair point. We had our exceptions too, but I think it’s clear that today’s global internet more resembles the mindset of 70s-80s US television.

@gruber@mastodon.social the broader argument is sound, yes. I just like sticking up for the BBC (and C4 and to some extent ITV), all making quality TV decades ago.
