@vera@im-in.space I know cooking on a ceramic hob, gas and induction. I have an induction cooker now since 2009. And I never want to have anything else again. What I loved on gas, is the immediate stop of boiling when you switch off. And that’s the same on induction. But a massive advantage of induction in comparison to gas is, that whatever is in the pan is heating up extremely quick. And if something overboiles it’s not burning in. So cleaning the hob is always an easy thing. And also much easier than cleaning a gas hob as the surface is even. Cooking on a ceramic hob means heating up quicker than on gas. It doesn’t stop boiling straight after you switch it of. And when it’s overboiling cleaning it is horrible. Even my partner is happy with her induction hob in her new flat. She was cooking on gas for her whole life and always said it’s the best. Now where she has induction she said that she will never go back to gas and she wished she would have tried earlier. @pandora@chaos.social
