I've spent the past couple of years using Proton Mail and I think I'm at the point where I want to migrate back to Gmail. Weird, eh?

@m@social.tthi.as I'm mostly happy and the app is a lot better than it used to be...but I miss a decent search. I run thunderbird on my home system and it and Proton talk happily so I can at least search that way but not on the phone.

@m@social.tthi.as I appreciate my Tuta mail, but there is just enough friction there to be annoying and I never really viewed email as “private”. I always viewed it as more of a postcard that anyone could read along the way. I just don’t want to be beholden to US tech companies.
