Today one of my students asked me why I hate AI writing/art so much, and I said, "Imagine if someone told you they were going to give you the best food in the world, and they went around to all the best restaurants in the world, and then put it in a blender and handed you a straw. Or all the most beautiful colors, whizzed together, so you can only use one color. That's how I feel about AI as art." "Oh, so it's... brown." "It's just brown."
