today's project - hand-sewing a pouch for my Kobo out of a fleece scarf I found in a free bin! it was a success, but it definitely reinforced my desire to learn to use a sewing machine.
(yes, Kobo makes custom "book" covers for their ereaders, but they're expensive and don't age well. fleece will outlive us all)

@twistylittlepassages@weirder.earth I also dislike that the Kobo cover stays attached, and gets in the way while I'm trying to read. I prefer to have a sleeve that isn't part of the actual reading experience.
