So it's not that a "registry" would be created outright, it's that it opens patient data up to be in more places and hence have more risks.
How different is this from a doctor collecting PHI on trans people?
I guess the concern is that it could be more easily centralized among manufacturers?

@marz@caw.corbode.com @jhwgh1968@chaos.social @twistylittlepassages@weirder.earth It's not different on paper, in that they're still subject to the same laws, but the centralization of information with less transparency for the patient is absolutely a point of concern.
