Part of me actually wonders if it will fly as well as they hope, given the current situation of gas prices is no doubt pushing more people to give bikes, scooters, and other micromobility devices a try.
But I'm not optimistic that it will be enough to deter them.

@Daveography@yeg.bike that might be another reason why they're going to try this stupid legislation. They might be thinking people realising they don't need cars all the time will cut into their O&G masters' profits.
