It is probably due to it being a slow line and not really conviently located that I haven’t read a lot here about Attnang-Stainach, but it really is a gorgeous line.

Also gorgeous (see what I did there!) but apparently only on weekends, Selzthal-Amstetten. It runs through a national park along a river gorge and is a long ride but totally worth it for the views (though the Sawa in Slovenia must be nicer, haven’t seen that yet). Now off to meet a friend for dinner in Vienna.

@patrick@mendeddrum.org It had bus replacement last summer when I was in the area, so I had to go up to Linz instead.
