So @noelle@mendeddrum.org is looking for a nice (traintransport based) itinerary for a long (5 day) weekend with a friend in Bristol/Bath area. Any tips, towns/places not to be missed, places/towns to be skipped, etc. would be appreciated! Weston-super-Mare looks - interesting, but maybe not in the right kind of way?

In almost 25 years as a civil servant I have never felt the need to strike. The responsibility for keeping the country running always was too big. But to keep the line of the previous government and force civil servants - many of whom work in low paying jobs in prisons, customs, cleaning or water management - to forego ANY price compensation (nullijn in dutch) is such an affront that I had to join my colleagues in Rotterdam. Glad to live in a country where this kind of union action is allowed! #...

:atag: :mtag: Upgrade to 4.5.7 and a new VPS has been concluded; the Drum now has a new IP-address. Hopefully this also solves the problem with intermittent image problems. Still working on restoring the extended character limit! EDIT: Character limit should now again be 5000.
