Yeah, but like the guy who won french scrabble championships without speaking french (by memorizing all the words), that would probably still be enough to win against most humans.

@Starkimarm@23.social Yes, but those are just words. They are easy to memorise. Chess is far more complex. I guess you could memorise all possible single moves, but as soon as you start memorising sequences of moves, the number becomes far larger than is possible to store very quickly. In any case, AI doesn't memorise in that way, so the point is moot. It is much simpler to use a basic chess emulator then. @WhiteCatTamer@mastodon.online @Eatsbluecrayon@rollenspiel.social
