@Melezioh My caregiver/best friend owns the house we live in now. It was his first after years of poverty/homelessness and represents a big achievement for him. We have Heavy survivor's guilt though, seeing first-hand exactly how much is saved by owning over renting. It's so frustrating how much luck had to do with how he got it at all. I hate how inaccessible this is to most people.
