@HunterXWorld@mstdn.social I've wondered this myself as has @matt@toot.cafe and, as far as I know, without using Textalker-GS on the Apple IIgs, the answer is no. I'm actually surprised someone or other didn't find a way to solve this problem back in the day. I keep thinking someone could have written an accessible Z-code interpreter where you would have provided your own legally-purchased Infocom game disks and it would make them accessible. But what I keep forgetting is that as far as I know, no one knew much about the Infocom Z-code format until the late 80's.

    @jaybird110127@dragonscave.space @HunterXWorld@mstdn.social I couldn't make it work with Textalker GS either. I'd load Textalker GS, then boot one of the Infocom floppies with PR#6, and it would crash. This was running under MAME, of course, with the older version of Textalker GS that worked under emulation. Of course, it's not that big a deal now, as there are accessible ways to play Z-code games on modern PCs.
