Large flow of river production like Niagara Falls and Cornwall can’t stop the flow to keep water for later. (Niagara does have small pumped storage). If willing to reduce nat gas production when windy, you reduce nat gas emissions. But still need the plant for when not windy (until battery storage happens fir wi d/solar)
