I slept in on Saturday and today. Didn't get any riding done the past week. So I thought it'd be a good excuse to do a dinner ride.
I set out 5PM. Weather app says it's 35C. Sunset is 6:14. How bad can it be, right?
Bad. Even when I picked the more shaded streets to ride, I was overheating. My eyes started to feel funny. I was afraid I'd go blind again so I cut my pre dinner ride short. Glad I did. My face was so red... redder than when I rode exposed to the morning sun.
Dangerous times 😳!

@evelyn@masto.evelynyap.com I have the opposite problem. Although Sunday was warm, yesterday and the next few days are only around 15 C. I'll probably go out today, but will wear winter stuff to stay warm. 🤪 🚴 🚴♂️
