The industry just isn't focused on high quality, light weight, steel transportation #bicycles designed for strength, stability under load, and sustainability. #ebikes, unfortunately, allow companies to get away with practices that aren't feasible in conventional pedal bicycles, because motor power can overcome their bloated weight. Aluminium sucks for frames. Most conventional bicycle designs do not have the strength or stiffness needed to accommodate conversion with a motor kit.
