@milagemayvary@mstdn.social sounds like the discredited wind turbine infra noise theory. It can’t be measured and it seems only to affect people who don’t like wind turbines.

@Lats@aus.social I thought most wind turbines operate around 32 db & some data centers in the US via EPA recommendations target 54 db but can get up to 96 db? That seems like on the wind turbine end it's making the same noise between a whisper up to normal conversation levels. The data center starts at the high end of conversation levels & can end up to almost as loud as a jack hammer. It could be phycosomatic but at 96 db I doubt it's not just going to be only in your head.
