Thinking about my mom today. Her dad was an oil prospector in Southeast New Mexico. She spent her childhood bouncing from one mining camp to another. She had a tough time when she was young, dealing with with poverty and depression. She was incredibly creative and capable eventually earning her doctorate and becoming chair of the Art History department at UNM. We weren't always super close but I never doubted that she loved me. Miss you Mom. ♥️
